Selling Mission to Sweden & Natural Products Scandinavia Trade Fair

SIPPO SA supported its partner BSOs, the dti and WESGRO for participation in the Selling Mission to Sweden, which included participation in the Natural Products Scandinavia trade fair in Malmo.

The vibrant and colourful South African booth attracted many visitors who showed a keen interest in the country and the variety of products on display. Co-exhibitors were able to showcase their unique and high-quality products to buyers from Scandinavia, Germany, the Netherlands, Switzerland, the UK, countries from Eastern Europe and others. It was the ideal meeting place for people who care about natural and organic products.

On trends: health and sustainability are, and will still be megatrends in 2019

Industry professionals and innovators delivered the newest trends, latest research and exciting hot topics during hourly seminars at the fair.

SIPPO: on remaining behind the scenes

The Selling Mission was organised and managed by the dti with collaboration from Wesgro. SIPPO supported the Business Support Organisations (BSOs) from the sidelines for the preparation of the mission as well as promotion of the booth at the fair. Site visits were also organised during the mission with buyers in nearby Denmark, which provided delegates with an additional opportunity to promote their products into the Scandinavian market.

With an average satisfaction rate of 90% expressed by the mission participants, SIPPO considers the Selling Mission to Sweden a great success.
