SIPPO strengthen capacities of Regional Chambers of PeruCamaras in the use of CRM systems
The Swiss Import Promotion Programme (SIPPO) in the effort to facilitate and transfer knowledge to the BSOs in Peru, implemented a two days’ workshop to the regional chambers members of PeruCamaras about the importance of using CRM systems and supported PeruCamaras and 10 regional chambers in learning to use the B2B Trace CRM developed by Koltiva in their commercial activities.
SIPPO CRM Programme Manager Andre Geissmann visited Peru from Switzerland and carried out the activity providing examples using the tool and giving each one of the participants the opportunity to use the software features and ask questions on how to the use of the system. This kind of tools are priority in regional chambers that are in need of databases that permit organize their contacts, as it is of the utmost importance for them in their daily activities.
More than 16 participants of the regional chambers, and binational chambers members of PeruCamaras and the central office in Lima participated in the training. In the event, the participants learned about how to manage their contacts, organize activities with their members, send invitations for events, and the importance of maintaining a CRM system.
General Manager Ms. Monica Watson was the host of the event, with the participation of the Lima Chamber of Commerce that presented its system Camtrade to the regional chambers that includes customs information about the Peruvian exports to various markets worldwide.
SIPPO continues supporting the efforts of PeruCamaras to develop competences for managing systems and tools that permit an adequate management of their database contacts. This initiative will prompt the Regional Chambers to develop their own databases for events and activities in each region of Peru.
